Bombazo
What's the Bombazo?
The Bombazo adds 5 extra points when two things happen at once:
- You get the match result right (home, draw or away).
- At most 15% of your pool picked that result.
The fewer people who saw it coming, the more valuable your call. It never subtracts: if you're wrong, or you went with the majority, you simply don't earn the Bombazo (but you keep the match's normal points).
Available per pool. You don't turn the Bombazo on — whoever creates the pool decides that when setting it up. If it's active, it applies automatically to every match; you don't have to do anything, just predict with conviction. If your pool doesn't have it, it doesn't apply.
An example.
The match ends 0-2: the away team wins. In your pool, only 12% predicted the away win… and you were one of them. Since you got the result right and you were in the minority (≤15%), you score the match's normal points +5 from the Bombazo.
How do you know a match gave you the Bombazo?
By the Bombazo icon on the match card: when you see it, that match added the +5. In the example above, look for the icon in the corner of the finished card.
